Jodi Kouts

Jodi Kouts is the Program Manager for Cybersecurity Research, Development, and Deployment for the Department of Energy’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER). In this capacity, she works with the energy sector, industry, academia, and the national laboratories to develop and deploy tools and technologies that reduce and mitigate cybersecurity risks to the energy sector. Prior to that, she served as Senior Advisor for Policy and Acting Director of the Cybersecurity Program Management Office, leading high-level policy and strategy issues including advanced wireless and spectrum, cybersecurity, quantum; artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies. Jodi has 30 years of federal government experience working a broad range of national security issues as a senior level policy official for various U.S. Government agencies. She also served at the National Security Council, where she provided direct support to the National Security Advisor and President on a broad range of matters related to promoting and protecting technologies critical to U.S. national and economic security.
